Day 1: Amsterdam, Netherlands / Sightseeing

We will pick you up at the airport in Amsterdam. The city is famous for its scenic canals and permissive culture of decriminalized drugs and legal prostitution, Amsterdam is a complex city with an amazing history.

You will take a 3-hour walking tour with an experienced guide that covers all the main sights of the old city of Amsterdam. You will see the Old Church, the Red Light District, the Jewish Quarter, and the Anne Frank House. You will view the famous leaning buildings of Amsterdam, the widest bridge, and the narrowest house. You will hear the stories of Amsterdam's rich and impressive history as the world's shipping and trading experts and about the dark days of Nazi occupation, These are only a few highlights of your city tour.

Later in the evening, you will enjoy dinner and the rest of the evening will be yours to relax.

Day 2: The Hague & Rotterdam, Netherlands / Sightseeing

After breakfast, you will take a 2-hour walking tour of The Hague where you will see sites such as the Peace Palace, Binnenhof House of Parliament, Palace Noordeinde, Knights Hall, China Town, and the Haagse Harry Sculpture. 

You will then travel 30 minutes to Rotterdam where you will have free time to see the Market Hall, the Cubed Houses, St. Lawrence Church, the Maritime Museum, and the Stahuis. 

Later you will enjoy an oceanfront dinner at Scheveningen Beach and the rest of the evening will be yours to enjoy the beach and Pier.

Day 3: Ghent, Belgium / Cathedral & Brewery

After breakfast, you will travel approximately 1.5 hours to visit the Westmalle Abbey "Trappist Abbey of Westmalle". A Monastery founded in 1794 is the home of the Westmalle Brewery. 

Afterward, we will travel 1 hour to the city of Ghent, Belgium. Here you will visit  Saint Bavo's Cathedral and see the Ghent Altarpiece, a very large and complex 15th-century altarpiece.

Later in the evening, you will enjoy dinner and the rest of the evening will be yours to relax.

Day 4: Dunkirk & Calais, France / War Museums

After breakfast, you will travel approximately 1 hour to Dunkirk Beach. The location of Operation Dynamo, where the heroic WWII evacuation of over 338,000 British & French soldiers from the city's beaches between 26 May and 04 June 1940. You will visit the Dunkirk Military Museum 1940 and the Calais Museum of Memory 1939-4, with a 200-meter Nazi Bunker to explore! You will also visit the beaches of Malo-les-Bains, and Escalles which were also part of the Allied invasion of Nazi-occupied France.

Then we will visit the nearby Blockhaus d'Éperlecques. The bunker was built by Nazi Germany under the codename Kraftwerk Nord West between March 1943 and July 1944. The site was originally intended to be a launching facility for the V-2 ballistic missile. It was designed to accommodate over 100 missiles at a time and to launch up to 36 daily. With a height of 22 meters high (72 ft), a width of 90 meters (295 ft), a length of 200 meters (656 ft), and walls 5 meters (16 ft) thick, is one the largest bunkers built in WWII.

Later will will visit the city of Calais which overlooks the Strait of Dover. The narrowest point in the English Channel, at only 34 km (21 mi) wide, and is the closest French town to England. You will then visit the Port of Calais and the Calais Lighthouse, constructed in 1848 and stands 55 meters(180 ft) high.

Later in the evening, you will enjoy a dinner and the rest of the evening will be yours to relax or find that perfect cup of coffee at a nearby café.

Day 5: Rouen & Caen, France / War Museums

After breakfast, you will travel approximately 2.5 hours to the city of Rouen, France.

As you walk the streets of Rouen, you will see the Cathedral Notre-Dame de Rouen, the Gros-Horloge, St Joan of Arc's Church, and the Old Market Square which is known for the Joan of Arc execution site.

You then travel for 1.5 hours to Caen, France. Here you will visit the Caen Memorial War Museum. You will discover a museum dedicated to the history of WWII and D-Day in June 1944.

Later in the evening, you will enjoy dinner and the rest of the evening will be yours to relax.

Day 6: Normandy Beach, France / War Museums

After enjoying breakfast, you will travel 30 minutes to Normandy Beach. Here you will first visit the Normandy American Cemetery, which honors the Americans who lost their life during WWII. You will also visit the Omaha Beach Memorial Museum, D-Day Omaha Museum, Utah Beach Landing Museum,  Airborne Museum, and the Pointe Du Hoc Monument.

After a busy day of museums, you will enjoy dinner and the rest of the evening will be yours to relax and walk onthe beach.

Day 7: Normandy Beach, France / War Museums

After breakfast, you will continue your visit to the multiple but very interesting war museums in the area. You will start at the Landing Arromanches Museum, then on to the America Gold Beach Museum, Juno Beach Center Museum, and the Le Grand Bunker - Museum of the Atlantic Wall.

Later that day, you will enjoy a dinner and the rest of the evening will be yours to relax with a walk on the beach.

Day 8: Paris, France / Sightseeing

After breakfast, you will travel approximately 3.5 hours to the city of Paris, France. With all of the sites and things to see and do, you will have 2 days of sightseeing in the beautiful city of Paris.

You will explore the city on Hop-On Hop-Off Bus which is one of the best ways to see the sights of Paris all in one go! Your sights will include the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph, Louvre Museum, Notre Dame, Orsay Museum, Champs de Mars, Paris Opera House, Grand Palais, Champs Elysées, and Sacré Coeur/Montmartre. You will see some of the world’s most exclusive and acclaimed hotels as the Crillon, Meurice, the Ritz, and The Mandarin Oriental. You will visit the Place Vendôme, where every shop window is worth over 1 million dollars!

Later in the evening, you will enjoy an evening river cruise to view the beautiful sights of Paris at night. After a busy day of touring the city, you will enjoy dinner and the rest of the evening will be yours to relax.

Day 9: Paris, France / Sightseeing

After breakfast, you will visit some of the famous museums in Paris. Your first stop will be the Eiffel Tower, constructed from 1887 to 1889 as the entrance to the 1889 World's Fair. The tower is 324 meters (1,063 ft) tall, and the tallest structure in Paris. Louvre Museum, the world's largest art museum and a historic monument in Paris, is best known for being the home of the Mona Lisa. Your next stop is the Arc de Triomphe which is perhaps the most iconic of all French monuments, built between 1806 and 1836. Later in the evening, you will enjoy an evening river cruise to view the beautiful sights of Paris at night.

After a busy day of touring the city, you will enjoy dinner and the rest of the evening will be yours to relax.

Day 10: Bastogne, Belgium / War Museums

You will enjoy breakfast at the hotel, you will travel approximately 3.5 hours to the city of Bastogne. A U.S. Sherman tank and a statue of General McAuliffe are reminders of Bastogne’s role during WWII’s Battle of the Bulge. Outside of town, the star-shaped Mardasson Memorial honors the U.S. soldiers who fought in that battle.

Here you will visit the Bastogne War Museum / GENERATIONS 45, Bastogne Barracks Museum, 101 Airborne Museum, and Le Bois de la Paix (Peace Wood). Through each of its memorial trees, it pays tribute to all the American soldiers and units that fought during the Ardennes Offensive. You will see the 101st Easy Company- Battle of the Bulge Memorial, the Bois Jacques Foxholes, and the War Cross.

In the evening you will enjoy dinner and the reflect on the days of the war in this now beautiful city.

Day 11: Luxembourg City, Luxembourg / Sightseeing

After enjoying breakfast, you will travel 1 hour to Luxembourg City. Luxembourg is the capital of the small European nation of the same name. Built amid deep gorges cut by the Alzette and Pétrusse rivers, it’s famed for its ruins of medieval fortifications.

You will take a 2-hour walking tour and see the sites of Palais Grand-Ducal, Chamber of Deputies, La Passerelle, Cathédrale Notre-Dame of Luxembourg, the Golden Lady Monument of Remembrance, and more!

After the tour, you will have free time to explore the historical city of Luxembourg on your own time.

Later you will meet in the evening and enjoy dinner and the rest of the evening will be yours to relax.

Day 12: Trier, Germany / Wine

After enjoying breakfast, you will travel 30 minutes to Trier. A southwestern German city in the Moselle wine region, near the Luxembourg border. Founded by the Romans, it contains several well-preserved Roman structures like the Porta Nigra gate, the ruins of Roman baths, an amphitheater just outside the center, and a stone bridge over the Moselle River.

While in Trier, you will see the Porta Nigra, St Peter's Basilica, Aula Palatina, Kaiser Therman, and the Amphitheater.

After sightseeing in the beautiful village of Trier, you will enjoy some free time at one of the local vineyards and enjoy the local wines and snacks.

Later in the evening, you will enjoy a dinner and the rest of the evening will be yours to relax or find that perfect cup of coffee at a nearby café.

Day 13: Frankfurt, Germany / Sightseeing

After breakfast, you will travel approximately 2.5 hours to the city of Frankfurt. Frankfurt, a central German city on the river Main, is a major financial hub that's home to the European Central Bank. It's the birthplace of famed writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

Here you will enjoy a 2-hour walking tour that includes sites such as The Romer which is Frankfurt's old city, the Goethe House, the Central Station, Old Central European Bank, Eiserner Bridge, the Cathedral of St.Bartholomew, Old Opera House, and more!

You will meet in the evening for your farewell dinner and the rest of the evening will be yours to pack for your return trip home.

Day 14: Frankfurt, Germany

You will enjoy breakfast at the hotel, we will be happy to take you to the airport for your departure or you can continue your vacation in Europe.
