My cousin and I are car guys. We found Wright Tours on the internet while searching for German car factory tours. We made contact with Steve and requested the addition of Ocktoberfest be added on. This was done without hesitation.
We were picked up at the airport and provided accommodations at wonderful hotels, and side trips to castles and he even reserved a car for me to rent so that I was able to drive on the autobahn! Our tour ended in München but our return flight was from Frankfort. No problem, Steve picked us up at 5:30 AM for the 4 hour drive back from Munich so we could catch our flight home. We had a wonderful 10 day trip. In my opinion, if you want a specialized trip in Europe, contact Wright Tours and see what he has to offer!

Just finished a customized tour of Poland & Germany with Wright Tours (my second in a row), and I had an amazing time. Poland has so much to offer, and my guide for Poland was Maciej Krupski. We saw all the sites I had requested and more. Time in Poland was 17 days, but I wanted to get a taste of all four corners of the country, and I did. Maciej suggested a couple of extra things do and adjusted the tour for driving times and plenty of time at the sites. Some we left early (as I was finished seeing what I had come for), and this gave us extra time at other sites. He helped me hunt for souvenirs and suggested many interesting restaurants to get out of my comfort zone. I spent time in Germany with Steve and did tours in Berlin, and saw some castles that I had missed on my last trip with him—another excellent trip, with very well-located hotels and a fun experience. I amhoping to do a Canadian WWI & WWII tour with Wright Europe very soon.

We did a tour of WW II sites (plus a few Breweries, Wineries, and other sites) with Steve and Wright Europe Tours in April of 2023. This was a custom-designed tour by Steve and one of our group of ten. We hit many of the highlights of the D Day invasion onward to the end of the war including many great museums and battle sites. These included sites in Arnhem, Normandy (beaches, museums, American Cemetery), Versailles, Bastogne, and others. Steve did a great job of setting up the itinerary, including interesting local hotels and restaurants. We minimized moving between hotels, yet covered a lot of ground in our 10 days. Steve hired another driver, Maciej Krupski, given the size of our group who was also wonderful in terms of helping us and his knowledge of the areas. Both Steve and Maciej were very flexible such that if we wanted more or less time at a site they would happily accommodate us and we even added in a few extra stops (when the beer looked interesting). Overall, I would highly recommend Steve, Maciej, and Wright Europe Tours if you’re looking for a customizable, economical, and very user-friendly European tour.

After doing the Car Factory Tour in 2019, we decided to do a completely custom tour with Wright Europe (Steve). After the original plan for a 2021 tour fell through due to Covid, we planned for an April 2023 tour going from Amsterdam through Belgium into France, back to Belgium, into Germany and finally to Frankfurt for departure. Working with Steve we developed a tour that included historic sites such as Arnhem and Nijmegen, Dunkirk, Normandy (Utah and Omaha Beaches, Juno Beach, Caen, St Mere Eglise), and Bastogne. Mixed in were places such as Ghent (Ghent Altar Piece), Bruges, Versailles, Reims, and Trier. We had a group of 10 and traveled in two vans to increase the tour adaptability for different interests and schedules. Steve did a great job of getting the plan together and Steve and Maciej executed it admirably. A great experience.

Wonderful experience for our grandson's 12th birthday adventure. He's car crazy, and Steve's tours to car factories and museums perfectly fit the bill. The war in Ukraine meant some factories closed early for their summer shutdowns, but Steve did a great job of finding alternatives, and the car-themed hotels were a big hit. Because he has young kids of his own, Steve related very well to our grandson, who was about the same age. The castle tours exposed our grandson to other sights in Germany; Grandma particularly appreciated those as a break from cars. Steve was also good at adjusting plans to fit the needs/preferences/requests of his guests. Really terrific time for my grandson and grandparents. Highly recommend his services. I would definitely consider another trip with him.

Took the German Car Factory Tour with Wright Europe. Trip had been planned for over 2 years and cancelled twice (by us) due to Covid. Wright was very understanding about the cancellations. We were somewhat surprised that we had been doubled up with another party on what, we thought, was a private tour.
Wright Europe modified the tour to accommodate 2 specific requests that we had (Nürburgring and Hockenheim). Also, 2 of the car factories were closed due to supply problems and castles/palaces were substituted much to our satisfaction. If we had wanted something else we’re sure that would have been accommodated.
A good tour director will try to accommodate the traveler but there are usually limitations. With Wright we felt they would make any changes necessary to accommodate us and they have the ability to make changes on the fly. Keeping the schedule was not the primary directive. Keeping us satisfied was. MotorWorld was amazing. Definitely what we would consider concierge touring.

About 18 months ago I found Wright Europe Tours online when searching for a German Car Manufacturer tour. I am an avid BMW fan and my brother and son are Porschephiles. This tour was perfect and we completed the tour this month. Steve did a great job keeping in touch with us over the 18 months (including one rescheduling) and took care of every detail imaginable. We were fortunate that all four manufacturers were running plant tours and in the end we took six tours and visited four museums. On top of which Steve worked in a day of sightseeing at Neuschwanstein and we also got to visit the Motor World facilities in Munich and Stuttgart. Steve also accommodated our request for a couple of BMW add-ons as part of our tour including the BMW Group Classic Museum and the Behind-the-Scene tour of BMW Welt. He also was able to plan our Porsche plant tours around our lunch reservation at the Christophorus Restaurant in the Porsche Museum. Thanks for an absolutely amazing tour and experience.

Want to say that I had a great time on my trip. I was glad that you could adapt to seeing some of the castles that I wanted to see that were not on your list. Herrenchiemsee had amazing fountains, Linderhof was a wonderful little palace and you will have to let me know when they finally finish redoing the Grotto as I would love to see that. Burg Eltz was in a wonderful setting tucked into a little valley and the walk there was enjoyable. Lichtenstein castle is a wonderful little treat in a quiet little town. The tours of the castles were great and Colditz was quite educational and we were very fortunate to be in some small groups. Glad we had time to spend at Wewelsburg as all the information on the SS was very eye opening in the museum there. One of the funny comments I heard at breakfast from another group was, "I didn't know there would be so many stairs." Castles have stairs not elevators and sometimes they are on the top of high hills or mountains so be prepared. Your daily totals on our steps and floors was something I will also remember as we covered a lot of ground and elevation changes. Dinners were great and having a beer in a small bar in Dresden by the river was so relaxing. Was very grateful that you tried to find extra things to do on the days we finished early and appreciate all you did to make this a very memorable holiday. Already looking forward to planning another custom tour to see more interesting and inspiring sites. Thank you Steven for a very memorable trip and hope to travel with you again soon.

Where do I sign up for another tour?

Steven and Wright Europe made sure that this trip was one for the record books. Originally scheduled for March 2020 and canceled many times due to COVID restrictions, Steven always was gracious and flexible in our rescheduling. Finally, in March 2022, we were able to go. From the time we landed in Munich until the time we left Steven was always available for us and whatever we needed. By the end of our trip he felt less like a guide and more like a friend. If you want to see the auto factories or castles in Germany, Austria, Italy, etc. I don't believe you will find a better host than Steven. He is a first class individual and is excellent at what he does. Thank you Steven!

We spent 5 days with Wright Europe Tours in December traveling to different Christmas Markets in Munich, Salzburg, and Vienna. It was a dream come true! All of the markets were amazingly beautiful with different handmade items from the local areas. We enjoyed tasting all the different foods from bratwurst, sausages with sauerkraut, roasted chestnuts, different types of cheeses and bread, chocolates and beer! We collected local mugs from each market as we enjoyed their Glühwein which is a hot mulled wine that keeps you warm on those cold nights. What an unforgettable trip, thank you Steve and all that you did for us on our Christmas vacation!

This is our second Wright Europe adventure. It was much better than any bus tour or river cruise. Steven Wright adapted the schedule to our interests and our speed of Go, Go, Go! We had numerous surprises along with a variety of interesting German accommodations. Our tour was based on German castles but did allow a few car factory tours and much more. Our schedule suited our desire to see and visit the number of sites along the way. Our meals and car snacks added to our enjoyment. Our Auto Factory Tours with Wright Europe was exceptional. Steven Wright worked with our group to make it tailored to exactly what we wanted to see and experience in the two week time frame we had. Steven organized an excellent custom tour for our group that included Museums and factories for BMW, Audi, Mercedes, and Porsche. The hotel accommodations and restaurants were excellent and I would highly recommend a stay at the V8 Hotel close to Stuttgart. Steven usually includes it and it is worth staying for a couple of days. We added trips to Salzburg, Vienna, Budapest, and Prague. There were 12 of us on our tour and the coach was very comfortable and Steven kept it well stocked with snacks and refreshments.

We used Wright Europe for an Auto Tour of Germany including visits to Audi in Ingolstadt, BMW in Munich, Mercedes in Stuttgart, and Porsche in Stuttgart. I had planned a trip to visit all the automobile museums in Germany for many years and fortunately I discovered Wright Auto Tours on the Internet and it made our planning for the trip so much easier because Steve Wright was able to take all of my trip requirements and wishes and he put together a very detailed and organized itinerary that included day by day all the stops and hotels and even the driving time between places. Wright Europe is a very professional, informative company and we had loads of fun! The tours that they offer are truly hand picked to give you the best experience of Europe as possible. The small private tours that are offered are wonderful with no hustle and bustle of those over crowded bus tours. We took the 14 day Paris tour that included cities like Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt to name a few. What was really amazing was that while we were traveling from city to city, we were offered beer, wine, soda and of course sparkling water with some great European snacks...all for FREE! We stayed at some wonderful hotels and Bed & Breakfasts that was unbelievable. We were really amazed that all of our breakfasts and dinners were included in our purchased price and every meal was great! We really enjoyed the people of Europe that we met while traveling and actually made friends that we stay in contact with. One of my enjoyments was the German beer...Prost! When we took the Auto Factory and German Castles Tour with Wright Europe, it was only then that we began to appreciate how fun and convenient private tours are. Steven Wright handled our tour like a most gracious host …… when we requested that we preferred to stay in old castles than traditional hotels, Steven gladly arranged it, and we stayed in lovely, lovely castles built in the 1400s with spectacular gardens and breathtaking views of the town and beautiful countryside. He has driven us to roads less travelled where these castles quietly nestled in quaint, little, historic towns, while he maintained an ample supply of chocolates and cheese and alcohol in the car. Like a true Army man that he was, Steven stayed true to the deliverables stated in his very detailed itinerary…. English guided tours of the auto museums AND factories and German castles mixed with walking tour of Munich (we had friends who used a different travel operator and they didn’t have English guides for the museums and they didn’t visit the auto factories!). Steven made our tour fun… he introduced us to a huge variety of German sausages, he happily took our photos and drank Augstiner (arguably the best German beer) with us. But he also gave us privacy: when we invited him to join us for dinner (which he paid for because it was part of the package) he politely declined saying he wanted us to have time for ourselves. Steven went the extra mile…. he gladly adjusted our itinerary on days when we wanted to sleep longer, he helped us look for a laundromat as an alternative to hotel laundry with steep charges, and when we had a hard time changing our US dollars at the bank (we refused to go to the money exchange because the exchange rate was so hugely unfavorable!) he offered to change it himself using the better bank rate. Our host became our friend, we referred friends who also joined him for a tour and who, like us, had an excellent time with Steven, and our friend and we invited Steven and his wife to come experience the islands and white sands of the Philippines. We look forward to seeing him next year to continue ‘Prost’!

I decided at the last minute to take the holiday I had always dreamed of - a tour of all the Auto Factories in Germany. As I was unfamiliar with Germany and navigating this foreign country, I was looking for a tour that could cater for my specific needs - namely seeing all the museums/factories for the major German auto makers at a reasonable price. I came across Wright Europe via an innocuous Google search one morning and was immediately impressed by Steve’s communication, patience and also ability to explain how the tour would be run. I can honestly say that the Auto Tour I had for 8 days was the best time I’ve ever had overseas. Steve was very accommodating in matching my requirements to the tour programme - which meant I got to see everything from the entire VW Autostradt facility (needs a full 2 days to see it in total given it’s size), the VW Museum and my favourite, the Porsche Museum and Factory Tour. Best of all, all the hotels were top notch and the service was door to door literally! If you are a car fanatic like me and want to see the best factories and auto museums Germany has to offer, you are mad if you don’t see Steve!

We took a private tour that we choose and designed ourselves combining some of the Castles, Auto Factories and Beer Factory tours together. We informed the owner Steven the places that we wanted to visit and he designed a vacation just for us! The surprising thing was that the price was very reasonable! The service was great and everything went as planned. We were picked up and dropped off at the airport and was pampered the entire vacation! The owner Steven was our driver & guide, what a nice person with a great sense of humor! All the tours and accommodations were great with no problems.
